Spring Garden is a completed neighborhood of 12 single-family homes in Enka-Candler, NC, built through MHO’s Self-Help Homeownership program. The neighborhood offers stunning mountain views, just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Spring Garden sits in Enka-Candler, a community just west of Asheville known for its easy access to the French Broad River, local parks, and a slower pace than downtown — while still being close enough for a quick drive into the city. The first six homes were completed in spring 2023, with the remaining six finished in 2025.
