MHO had a wonderful evening in downtown Asheville at Mosaic Realty’s 2nd Annual Art Walk, which featured 14 galleries and 15 local non-profits! MHO was stationed at American Folk Art and Framing, located at 64 Biltmore Ave. One-man-band roots musician Jay Brown played live, light refreshments were served, and all participating galleries offered discounts and contributed back a portion of the evening’s sales. Every $10 donation made to MHO earned participants a raffle ticket to win a wonderful WNC Staycation Package.
The fabulous raffle package featured:
- Two-Night Stay at The Red Hen Cottage in Asheville, donated by Mosaic’s Gus Mujica
- Two-Night Stay at Wildflower Cabin in Hendersonville, donated by Mosaic’s Vanessa Byrd
- $100 Gift Certificate to American Folk Art & Framing

However, the grand prize raffle of the event was a chance to WIN A NEW CAR! For $100 each, you could enter to win a 2024 all electric Volkswagen ID.4 or opt for the cash value! All proceeds were be shared by participating non-profits (including MHO!)
