On December 1, 2022, we celebrated our annual MHO Homecoming fundraising event thanks to our Platinum sponsor, Partnership Property Management. This year, we were specifically honored to celebrate our very own Founding Executive Director, Cindy Visnich Weeks. After 34 years with MHO, we were thrilled to have so many people come out to wish her well wishes on her retirement.
Mountain Housing Opportunities was founded by volunteers who wanted to ensure that everyone – no matter their income – had a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home. Since then, MHO has worked tirelessly to create, preserve, and revitalize affordable homes in thriving communities in Buncombe County and beyond. As we move into our 35th year in 2023, we are more committed and more productive than ever before.
